FAQ & GLOSSARY

Frequently asked, and the glossary of terms

What people ask before paying, and after — beside the words the scanner uses, in plain language.

Questions that keep coming back

No. We read what the contract exposes and score it. A project can look clean on-chain and still be rugged another way: the team dumping its share, liquidity pulled by hand, or a false promotion campaign. The score reduces surprises; it does not remove them.

The glossary

Honeypot

A contract that lets you buy and blocks you from selling. The token shows in your wallet, and the moment you try to sell, the transaction is refused. The worst thing we look for — on its own it pushes the score into the red band.

Cannot sell entire balance

Lets you sell part of your balance and blocks the rest, leaving you stuck holding a portion with no way out. A quieter version of a honeypot, and harder to spot.

Buy and sell tax

A cut the contract takes from every trade. A 10% sell tax means you lose a tenth of the amount the moment you sell, before the price moves at all.

Tax can be modified later

The owner can raise the tax after you buy. You might enter at 1% and find yourself selling at 99% — a honeypot by another name.

Top holder

How much of the supply the largest wallet holds. One wallet holding half the token can drop the price with a single sale, however clean the project looks.

Top ten holders

What the ten largest wallets hold between them. High concentration means the price sits with a handful of parties who can coordinate, even if no single one holds an alarming share.
